Founded in 1981, the Ashland Trio is Central Kentucky's most established chamber group. What began as an informal collaboration among friends developed into one the area's most popular and respected musical ensembles.

The Ashland Trio takes pride in its flexibility, versatility and willingness to perform for any occasion, in just about any location! They have performed in churches, places of business (even a beauty salon!), hotels, back yards, private homes, parks, historic homes, the Governor's Mansion, and many more.

All members of the Ashland Trio have played in the Lexington Philharmonic for several years, play chamber music, teach their respective instruments, play solo recitals, and play in various small ensembles. They are highly qualified and experienced working musicians who genuinely love playing music together!
